It works great. My suggestion is to add more than it's needed. If you look at my picture you'll be able to tell that I used the minimum on all the edges. It works great but I'm planning on adding 4 more inches to overlap.

This 8-inch-wide roofing tape was exactly what I needed to protect my RV awning and slideout topper from being damaged by the sun's UV rays. Finding this tape 8 inches wide was difficult. The color, thickness and stickiness is perfect for this application. Once I got the protective plastic backing to start coming off at one corner it then allowed me to apply it smooth and straight one foot at a time. According to the product description this will hold up great in a high UV ray environment. Since RV Awnings and slideout toppers are very expensive to replace, using this product offers a simple, long lasting solution of protection. Not only that is looks great.

I bought this for an application that turned out to not be the best thing ever, but I made it work. I made it work, because this product is malleable. It adjusts to whatever you might need. The most remarkable thing is that I'm not that good at stuff. I want to do good, I tell myself, "take your time, do it right" but then I get impatient and ready to move on. This tape allowed me that--it is very forgiving. I would use this tape every time.

Holding up well so far and WAY cheaper than the brand name. Works well for leaks and easy to apply, nice and thick. You’ll need a roller to apply and once open don’t let it sit on its side, it will get stuck to the counter!

I got the seal tape for my off grid hunting land cabin/hunting blind. I used it to seal up the corners and roof seems and wall seems. Where I connected the plywood panel walls and roof. To help keep rain and air out for a weather tight cabin and the seal tape is paintable also with I plan on painting my cabin soon the adhesive is strong and sticky and adheres to just about any surface. We have a metal under-decking that was looking rusted and yucky (industry term LOL). We tried to paint and things simply looked worse.
